By taking this route, you may be able to pay for school out of pocket, or through a tuition reimbursement plan, whereas, with the four-year university, it’s likely that you’ll need a loan or two to supplement the expenses.

You Can Dive Right Into Your Specialty

While attending a university very often requires that you spend your first two years working through the liberal arts aspect of your degree choice, at a technical community college, you very often can dive right into your craft without focusing on science or math classes that don’t apply to your major. For instance, if you’re attending the college for culinary arts, you don’t have to worry about dissecting a frog before taking your first cooking class.
