All About Lesley

Hey there! My name is Lesley Sproles. I live in the beautiful windy city (Go Bears!) and I’m working on my Master’s in Education. Right now I’m working as a Cardiac Tech at a hospital while I’m in school to pay the bills but I’m hoping to start teaching in a couple years. I got my Bachelor’s in English through an online program with the University of Illinois. A lot of my friends are in the middle of changing careers, mostly because of the economy, and they don’t really know where to begin when it comes to finding educational opportunities. I started this blog to help them, and others like them, navigate the really confusing world of finding schools. I have been lucky in my own educational opportunities and I want to spread the wealth. Everyone has the right to a great education, one that will help them settle into a career. With unemployment over 10% education is the key to finding a job right now. No matter where you are in life you can always go to school, just ask my fifty-year-old mother who just started working on her Associate’s degree. With this blog I hope to demystify and clarify where, when , and how to start your education. Stay tuned…
